EXPLORE SELF FOR SOBER SUCCESS

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Mary Oliver

When I think of my younger self, my mother, and grandmothers, who all misused alcohol to buffer their pain, I don’t wish that I could have taught them how to quit drinking.

I wish I could have taught them that they deserved to dream and pursue their dreams.

I wish I could have encouraged them to stop focusing on what they didn’t want and pour their heart and souls into what they did want.

But they probably had no idea what they wanted.

I recently watched a video I had forgotten I made asking my mom, “If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently?” Her limited scope of possibilities saddened me. Like many of us, she thought in terms of survival instead of LIVING.

We often don’t know what we want because we have been disconnected from SELF trying to survive, not rock the boat, or disrupt anybody else’s life or expectations.

That’s the dull, gnawing pain that leads most of us to misuse alcohol. It’s easier to just check out with a glass of wine. There’s always tomorrow, right?

My mom transitioned this past April. She has always been my why. It’s never been about the alcohol. It’s always been about helping women connect to SELF and live life from the inside out.

When we live from meaning and purpose, we don’t want to miss a moment distracting ourselves with alcohol, food, tv, social media, poor relationships, supposed to’s, shoulds, or oughts.

I forgot my why trying to do what I should do to market a niche.

So, my brand may not be as polished or my message perfected or clever, but you can always trust I am serving from my heart.

So, I present to you Y.E.S. You Exploring Sober (SELF)

I will ask you the questions that help you dig deeper, uncover, recover, and discover what you may have forgotten or never learned about yourself.

Please accept this invitation to go after life with a clear mind, open heart, and defined intention by embracing Y.E.S. for sober success!
